Springlake Division is the only joint Police-Fire station presently operational in Oklahoma City. Built in February 1990, the station serves not only as a police briefing station, but also houses a full fire company. The division is commanded by Major Willard Paige and covers 130 square miles in northeastern and northwestern Oklahoma City. Included in the division is the Oklahoma City Zoo, Remington Park racetrack, the National Cowboy Hall of Fame and Western Heritage Museum, the Oklahoma State Capitol and Science Museum Oklahoma. |
